Fijian Drua fly-half Teti Tela has reached another milestone, becoming the first Drua player to score over 50 points in Super Rugby Pacific.

He is currently second in the overall points statistics behind Wallabies and Reds fly-half James O’Connor who has collected 63 points.

The 30-year-old was instrumental in the Drua’s first-ever Super Rugby win against the Rebels and has been in the starting line-up since Round 4.

The man from Daliconi Village in Vanuabalavu in Lau played for the Fiji Under 20 in 2011 before joining the Queensland Country in 2015 for the National Rugby Championship.

He joined the Queensland Reds in 2018.

Tela is one of the 3 players nominated for fijivillage Fan Player of the Match for Round 7 and the voting closes at 12 tonight.

The Drua meet the Brumbies at 9.45pm Saturday.

In other matches this week, the Highlanders will face the Moana Pasifika at 7.05pm Friday, the Force will take on the Rebels at 9.45pm Friday, the Hurricanes will play the Crusaders at 4.35pm Saturday, and the Chiefs will face the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday.
