21 teachers of Nasinu Gospel Primary School are calling on the Minister for Education to respond to their concerns after they were asked to leave the school compound regarding concerns raised about the school enforcing parents to pay school levies.

The teachers claim that during their meeting, the Head Teacher, Sereima Waqalevu threatened them and then chased them out.

The teachers were also told that they would be transferred to other schools.

The teachers have also highlighted that this is not the first time they have been chased out from the school compound.

They have asked where will the Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro stand after reassuring Fijians that no school should levy any enrolment or re-enrolment fee for any child in the 2024 academic year.

fijivillage News also requested the Head Teacher to comment on the issue.

Waqalevu said that everything is with the Ministry.

We have sent questions to Radrodro.
