Taxis seen crossing containment zone borders

People and vehicles were still moving in and out of containment zones today.

This was observed by fijivillage when we visited the border at the Delainavesi Police Post near the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge and at the bridge near Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi.

People that were allowed to cross the borders were showing their passes to Police.

Many people were also waiting at the border for Police to pass items to their relatives on the other-side.

We also saw many people around Suva today only covering their mouth with their mask although the advice by the Health Ministry is for people to cover your nose and mouth.

We also saw people walking on the side of the road with masks in their hands and they only wore the masks when they get into the bus or taxi.

Please wear your masks at all times if you are not in your bubble.

We could also notice more people practicing social distancing around Suva today.
