The woman alleged to have caused the death of her partner in Tavua has been charged and will appear at the Tavua Magistrates Court today.
Police say the 25-year old accused is alleged to have seriously injured her partner, resulting in his death in their Tavua home last Friday.
The accused has been charged with one count of murder.
Police had earlier said that the woman is alleged to have fled the scene after seriously injuring her husband, which resulted in his death.
The matter was reported to police by the victim’s father, who found him lying motionless with visible injuries.
