Tanoa Hotel Group is ramping up its investment in the tourism sector, with over $20 million being poured into the redevelopment of Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi, as part of a wider plan to modernise and expand its portfolio across the region.

While speaking to fijivillage News during a client appreciation cocktail event, Area General Manager Narend Kumar says they have renovated stage one and stage two has been completed with full refurbishment.

He says in 2019, they renovated Tanoa Plaza in Suva and in 2026-27, they may look at Tanoa Waterfront in Lautoka as well.

Kumar highlights that the group’s focus has now shifted toward growth, marketing, and maintaining its strong service culture as tourism continues to rebound.

He adds that while Tanoa Hotels have been investing heavily in infrastructure, the heart of their success lies in service.

The Area Manager says they have many Fijians working across Tonga and Samoa who are setting benchmarks at their resorts.

The Tanoa Hotel Group has 8 hotels in total, including one each in Samoa and Tonga.
