Although the Fiji Airways National Men’s and Women’s 7s teams fell short in the Dubai 7s over the weekend, two of their players made it into the Dubai 7s Dream Team.

Fiji Men’s halfback Terio Tamani and Fijiana 7s rover Reapi Uluinasau are the two players who made it into the Dream Team after outstanding performances last weekend.

Tamani was named alongside Argentina’s Marcos Moneta, German Schuls and South Africa’s Rosco Specman in the backline, while New Zealand’s Scott Curry, Leroy Carter and South Africa’s Selvyn Davis were named in the forwards.

The Women’s Dream Team include New Zealand’s Jorja Miller, Australia’s Teagan Levi, Maddison Levi, Charlott Caslick, Canada’s Florence Symonds and France’s Anne-Cecile Ciofani.

Meanwhile, the pools for the Cape Town 7s this weekend are out with the Fiji Men’s side in pool B alongside Dubai 7s cup finalist Argentina, France and Spain.

The Fijiana 7s side is in pool A with Dubai 7s Women’s winners Australia, Japan and Spain.

The fixtures for Cape Town 7s are yet to be confirmed.
