Fiji weightlifter Miriama Taletawa has won bronze in the women’s 86kg junior division at the Commonwealth Championships in Ahmedabad, India.
Taletawa lifted 91kg in the snatch and 112kg in the clean and jerk to end the competition with a total of 203kg.
Meanwhile, teammate Taniela Rainibogi won gold in the Men’s 110kg category with a lift of 365kg, which includes 165kg in the snatch and 200kg in the clean and jerk.
