Talemaigau bags 3 bronze medals while Vateitei settles for silver.

Fiji’s weightlifter, Eroni Talemaigau bagged 3 bronze medals in the Men’s 55kg competition in the Mini Pacific Games in the Northern Marianas this afternoon. He lifted 82kg in the snatch and 105kg in the clean and jerk for a total lift of 187kg.

Talemaigau was challenged by 105kg but secured two out of 3 votes needed to proceed to the next round.

Meanwhile, Elenoa Vateitei settled for silver in the Women’s Va’a 500m.
