Suva market Florist Irieta Takayawa

Suva market Florist Irieta Takayawa says she has plans to venture into doing decorations for churches, weddings and decorations for any social or corporate events after selling flowers for over 20 years at the Suva Market.

While speaking to fijivillage News Takayawa says she had good sales during the Christmas season however, sales have dropped during the new year.

She says functions from weddings, birthdays, and church decorations were the most popular events that boosted her sales during Christmas.

Takayawa says that her sales usually increase during Valentine's Day as she gets orders from overseas as well.

The Florist further says her obsession with flowers came at a very young age when she used to make Salusalu.

Takayawa advises people to always follow their passion and believe in their abilities.

She also says that she is grateful to God for the gift of life and for allowing her to live through another new year despite the circumstances she faces as a mother and a businesswoman.
