The Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone kicks off at 11 this morning at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Defending Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone champion Ratu Kadavulevu School says they will not let the rainy weather faced in recent weeks dampen their spirits as they aim to retain their title again this year.

RKS Principal, Ilaisa Waqalala says nothing is new for them this year as they have been following their usual routine of training after school hours, however, the boys have doubled their preparations.

He says 83 athletes will represent their school.

Tailevu Zone Coordinator Waisiki Koroi says 7 schools will compete in the two-day event.

RKS and Tailevu North College are the defending champions for the boys and girls divisions respectively.

The Tailevu Zone will be on today and tomorrow.
