Tailevu Naitasiri beats Labasa 4-3 to reach Futsal IDC final

Tailevu Naitasiri has made it to the final of the Extra Futsal Inter-District Championship 2025 after beating Labasa 4-3 in the first semi-final at Vodafone Arena this morning.

Labasa scored first with Ashnil Kumar Raju scoring a goal in the 2nd minute, but Tailevu Naitasiri came back strong with goals from Neeraj Sharma in the 8th minute and Shifraaz Khan two minutes later, leading 2-1 at halftime.

In the second half, Avishek Deo scored for Tailevu Naitasiri, making it 3-1 but Labasa’s Simione Ragoneturaga quickly scored a goal to make it 3-2.

Tailevu Naitasiri’s Maciu Tuilau then scored, and although Ashnil Kumar Raju scored his second goal for Labasa, Tailevu Naitasiri won 4-3.

Shifraaz Khan of Tailevu Naitasiri was named Extra Player of the Match.

Meanwhile, the Suva is leading Lautoka 2-0 at halftime.

The final will be at 3pm.
