Pacific sprint king Banuve Tabakaucoro and Fiji’s long distance champion Yeshnil Karan will be part of Team Fiji for the 2022 Pacific Mini Games in Northern Mariana Islands.
Team Fiji General Manager Anushil Kumar says Karan will be travelling to Fiji on Friday and join the team at the airport while Tabakaucoro will fly directly to Saipan.
Kumar says Tabakaucoro and Karan are currently participating in the Gather, Adjust, Prepare and Sustain programme in Australia.
He says the duo will be part of the 13 member athletics squad led by coach Albert Miller.
The 2022 Pacific Mini Games will be held in Saipan, Tinian and Rota, Northern Mariana Islands from 17-25th this month.
