Tabakaucoro, Lemeki, Senibale, Yee and Lal to take the tracks tonight

Banuve Tabakaucoro, Tony Lemeki, Lasarusa Senibale and Braelynn Yee will take part in the 100 metres heats of the Pacific Mini Games in Saipan from 6.15 this evening.

Avikash Lal will feature in the final of the men’s 10,000 metres event at 7.15pm.

Athletics Head Coach and Team Manager Albert Miller Snr says the athletes are in good spirits, injury free and ready to go out and compete hard.

The athletics competition will run till this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Papua New Guinea leads the medal tally with 7 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze. Fiji is in 8th place with 2 silver and 4 bronze.
