Tabadamu wins 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s

Tabadamu wins the 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7's Tournament.

Tabadamu has won the 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s after defeating favourites Police White 22-19 at the ANZ Stadium.

Tabadamu scored the first try of the match through Petero Nakelevanua but Police responded with two tries from Sakeo Raloa and Suliano Volivoli.

Tabadamu came back firing with two tries from Iosefo Masi and Daniele Cakaunivalu to put them in the lead.

Another try from Netani Tavo extended their lead to 22-14.

Masi was also sin-binned in the 4th minute of play for tackling a man on the ground.

Rusiate Nasove of Police scored the last try but it was not enough to give them the victory.

Tabadamu get the $15,000 prize money while Police White received $5,000

In other results, Annandale Striders won the Women’s final beating Marist Seahawks 27-5 while the Dominion Brothers defeated Ck Easy Buy Marist 10-0 in the Under 21 finals.
