As the Year 13 exam results are released today, the Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service says applications for the 2025 academic Year are currently open and they have so far received around 6,958 applications and registration.

They say there are around 3,279 applicants who have just registered and are encouraging them to commence the application.

TSLS says the total number of new registrations is definitely going to increase from today, as similar trends have been noticed previously.

They say as the results are released, applicants will be able to secure a final offer letter from their preferred tertiary education institution and submit their application.

TSLS is encouraging potential applicants to make a wise decision when selecting their choice of programme.

As applications close on the 31st of January, this gives applicants enough time to register and submit their application for assessment.

They say students who have already registered need to upload Year 13 examination results and a final offer letter from the preferred tertiary education institution and submit the application.

TSLS says registration for the 2025 academic year for the Fiji Government scholarships opened on the 2nd of December.

They say they will not assess any application based on a provisional offer letter from any tertiary education institution.

TSLS is encouraging 2024 Year 13 students to register and apply at their earliest as some scholarships have quota.

They say they will allow the applicants at least two weeks to complete and submit their application after the release of the Year 13 results.

TSLS further says once TSLS commences processing, regular communication will be done to advise the potential applicants whose applications are incomplete.

They are encouraging potential applicants to regularly check their registered emails for any correspondence.
