Suva women's football rep Vane Tukania passes away in a hit and run accident

Suva Women’s Football player, Vane Lolo Tukania has passed away following a hit-and-run accident along Ratu Dovi Road in Nadera on Saturday.

She was the daughter of former national and Labasa football star, Tevita Tukania.

Fiji Football Association President, Rajesh Patel, the board, and the entire football fraternity are mourning her loss.

Vane had represented Fiji at the Under-17 level.

Patel says this is a heartbreaking loss for the entire football community.

The Fiji FA President says Vane was not only a talented and dedicated footballer but also a remarkable young woman who served her country with pride.

We have sent questions to Police regarding the hit-and-run case.
