Both teams were locked 1-all at halftime.
Both goals for Suva were scored by Sairusi Nalaubu.
Ba’s only point in the match came from an own goal by Suva.
Thaggard says when you are coaching any team you become a father figure to them.
Thaggard says this is the first time that they have defeated Ba in a national league game since 2015.
In another match today, Rewa beat Nasinu 1-0.
Rewa’s lone goal was scored by Tevita Waranivalu.
Meanwhile, Nadi defeated Lautoka 3-2 in an earlier match.
Nadi’s goals were scored by Avinesh Suwamy, Sakaraia Naisua and Rusiate Matarerega.
