Suva come from 2 goals down to retain Digicel Futsal IDC

Defending champions Suva came from two goals down to beat Lami 4-2 in the final of the Digicel Futsal IDC at the Vodafone Arena this afternoon.

Lami raced away with a 2-0 lead in the first half through goals from Navneet Chand and Ronish Singh.

Azariah Solomon then scored twice for Suva to level the scores.

Bruce Hughes gave Suva the lead in the second half before Sahil Dave sealed the win in the last minute.

Meanwhile, Tailevu Naitasiri beat Rakiraki in the 7th place playoff, Rewa thrashed Ba 8-0 in the 5th place playoff while Nadi beat Lautoka 6-5 on penalties to finish third.
