The Suva bound lane along Ratu Mara Road has been closed and only the Nausori bound lane is open as the Water Authority of Fiji is continuing repair works on the leaking Nabua Wastewater Pump Station in front of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School.
When questioned, Fiji Roads Authority’s CEO, Kamal Prasad says this was done due to safety concerns as the trench has gone bigger.
He says the fault has been identified and repair works have begun.

There is no definite time frame as to when works will finish.
FRA is conducting traffic management in the area and they will seek assistance from police if necessary.
