Suva and Lautoka played out a 1-1 draw in an evenly contested Group A encounter at the 2025 FMF Inter-District Championship, held at the 4R Electric Stadium in Govind Park, Ba.
Suva took an early lead through Gagame Feni, but Lautoka responded with an equalizer by Mohammed Shazil Ali giving the teams a 1-all draw at halftime.
Despite both teams creating chances in the second half, neither was able to score.
Meanwhile, the match between hosts Ba and Navua is currently underway.
In other results, Rewa dominated Nadroga 6-nil while defending champions Labasa got off to a solid start, defeating Nadi 2-nil.
In the senior division, the match between Lami and Bua ended in a 3-all draw while Rakiraki defeated Dreketi 3-1.
In tomorrow's matches, Nadi will face Suva at 2pm, Rewa will face Navua at 4pm, Labasa will take on Lautoka at 6pm while Ba will take on Nadroga at 8pm.
