“Survivor” which was shot in Fiji is back for Season 49 — its final outing with new contestants before next spring’s landmark 50th season, which will feature a cast of returning players for the first time since 2020.

The contestants range from age 25 to 52 this season.

Among the 18 castaways, as previously reported by Variety, is “Black Panther” producer and former Marvel Cinematic Universe executive Nate Moore.

The cast also includes four people who work in the realm of law: a political communications director, a law clerk, a financial crime consultant and a correctional officer.

Also part of the cast are a musician, an airport ramp agent, a clinical social worker and a rocket scientist.

Notably, two of this season’s cast members have already secured a shot to return to “Survivor.”

When CBS revealed the cast of Season 50 in May, it kept two names secret, noting that two Season 49 players would return to Fiji almost immediately to play again. (Season 49 was shot in April and May of this year, and Season 50 was shot in June.)

“Survivor” Season 49 premieres on CBS on September 24th.
