Yasawa has booked their place in the women's cup semifinals after thrashing Marist 36-0 in the Fun Flavour Super 7s Series.

Captain Ani Mei scored 2 out of the 5 tries in the game to help Yasawa secure their first-ever semifinal place.

Yasawa played as far as the plate competition in last year's tournament.

The second cup quarterfinal saw Police thrash Lautoka 34-0.

Police dominated possession from the kick off and pinned Lautoka back in their own half throughout the game.

Lautoka committed a lot of handling errors, missed tackles and struggled in the wet conditions.

Striders survived a second half scare from Savusavu beating them 17-5 in the third quarterfinal.

Having a slender 10-5 lead at the break, Striders scored another try early in the second half to seal their win before Savusavu mounted the pressure in the last few minutes.

In the last women's cup quarterfinal, Mount Masada thrashed Seahawks 71-0 with a 9 try blitz.

Alowesi Nakoci was the star for Mount Masada scoring four tries while captain Rusila Nagasau worked tirelessly in defence and also added a try.

The cup semifinals will see Yasawa taking on Police while Striders will face Mount Masada.

The women's cup semifinals will kick off at 1:10pm tomorrow.
