Super 7s Series: Double tries for Volivoli and Viriviri seals first win for Police Blue

Mobil Super 7s Series leaders, Police Blue kicked off their campaign with a win after defeating Police White 42-35 this morning.

Six tries were scored by Police Blue with Suliano Volivoli and Samisoni Viriviri getting a double.

Fiji 7s training squad members Livai Ikanikoda, Josevata Talacolo and Terio Tamani came off the bench for the Blue’s in the second half.

Police Blue will take on Wadigi Salvo at 12:10pm today in their next match.

In other results, Raiwasa Taveuni defeated Life After Rugby Barbarians 19-10, Tabadamu beat Ratu Filise 10-7, Eastern Saints beat Dominion Brothers 12-5, Wadigi Salvo thrashed Stallions 31-7, Wardens edged Navy 15-10 and Army hammered Nawaka 40-0.
