Thousands of students from the Northern Division will take full advantage of the Fiji National University Open Day at the Naduna Campus in Labasa.

The two-day Open Day will allow students to engage with the different departments and learn about the programmes that they are interested in and wish to pursue as their career.

A Year 13 student of Labasa Sangam College, Ileen Kumar says she is interested in doing software engineering and is ambitious about continuing her studies.

When asked which programme stood out for her, Kumar says the School of Mathematics and Computer Science stood out as she wants to study in a similar field.

Labasa Sangam Student encourages other students to attend the Open Day and learn about the university environment, programmes, requirements and other related details.

Kumar says the theme “Dream It, Weave It, Achieve It” is highly motivating and aligns with her goals.

Meanwhile, FNU says they are excited to see the response from the students exploring the opportunities and resources available for their future.

FNU is encouraging students to visit them and discover the educational journey.

The Open Day at the Nasinu, Namaka and Natabua Campuses will begin tomorrow.
