Education Minister Aseri Radrodro says students are expected to report to school from today, just as they had announced previously.

Radrodro says for day schools, students report today and induction will begin for every class followed by distribution of textbooks adding that normal teaching and learning will begin tomorrow.

He says there is no need for teacher preparation day today because all preparations have been completed last week.

The Minister adds new students are usually informed when they received their acceptance letter last year or early this year.

Radrodro says for large boarding schools, students will be enrolled beginning from today and tomorrow while normal classes should roll out from Wednesday.

He says this might vary from one school to another depending on student numbers and distance travelled by students.

Radrodro adds schools such as ACS, RKS, QVS and St John Cawaci for example will use the first 2 days just to get students to the boarding facilities while normal classes should begin on Wednesday.
