A 24-year-old student was arrested from Nadiri settlement in Valelevu last night for allegedly assaulting a police officer and breaching curfew.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says the eight arrests made in the Southern Division were recorded in Lami and Valelevu.

Tudravu says six men were arrested in Lami Town as they were found all drunk during curfew hours.

He says the arrests recorded in the Eastern Division were made in Nausori and Nakasi where three were found drunk and walking along the Kings Highway looking for a taxi.
