Opposition MP Jone Usamate

Opposition MP Jone Usamate says they wanted to make sure that the people of this country had information and knowledge because it is something that frees people, the coalition government should stop preaching rubbish if they have no proof.

While responding to the Deputy Prime Minister’s ministerial statement on Walesi, Usamate says the $125 million used on Walesi is not just about the tangible benefits, it is about the intangible benefits that lead to tangible benefits.

He further says Walesi offered free to air education programs, free wi-fi services in the FNU campuses, community village installations, free Walesi boxes to every family that earns $30,000 or less, tele-centres in all schools, communities, information that they did not have they finally got.

Usamate stands by the Walesi investment and says it is not abuse or wastage.
