People came out in numbers yesterday to raise money for the Saint Pius X Parish Fun Day along Milverton Rd after a lapse of 3 years.
St. Pius X Parish Council Vice Chairman, Rafa Roqica says its good to come together as a community because without the support of the people, nothing can happen.
Roqica says the money raised from the Fun Day will be used to fund their church projects and programs.
He says they have around 1,500 parishioners that are divided into 11 areas.
He says they had people selling food, snacks and also yaqona.
The Vice Chairman says the event was very successful because it is the first they have had since COVID as people turned up to support their different areas.
