Sri Lanka celebrates first win after defeating Netherlands in the Cricket World Cup

Sri Lanka has finally secured their first win in the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup after defeating Netherlands by five wickets this morning.

Sri Lanka are the last of the 10 teams in the tournament to register their first win and are 8th on the table with 2 points.

Netherlands will take on five-time champions Australia at 8.30pm Wednesday while Sri Lanka will face England on Thursday.

India will play New Zealand 8.30 tonight.

New Zealand is currently leading the table with 8 points followed by India also with 8 points while South Africa is third with 6 points.
