I’m very privileged to be working alongside these professionals at the front lines – Dr Waqainabete

Please spare a thought for our hardworking frontliners who leave their families during these trying times to provide the much needed medical services in the country.

As we celebrate International Nurses Day today, Health Minister, Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete is wishing all our nurses a Blessed International Nurses Day.

Doctor Waqainabete says he is very privileged to be working alongside these professionals at the front lines and in administration in service to our nation.

He says he is grateful for all the nurses do so diligently despite the challenges we face together.

The Health Minister says he is also encouraged to know that behind the nurses stand proud families who have committed and supported their sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers, daughters and sons in this role through the many seasons.

He has thanked them for their sacrifices.
