Spain reach cup quarterfinal in Vancouver 7s

Spain is through to their first-ever Cup quarterfinal of the HSBC 7s Series after collecting one win and two losses in the Vancouver 7s.

Spain lost to Kenya 17-5 in their first match and were thumped 34-7 by South Africa in their second game but won against Mexico 59-0.

Spain will face South Africa in the last cup quarterfinal at 5.26am tomorrow.

In other quarterfinals tomorrow, Ireland will face Hong Kong at 4.20am, USA meet Kenya at 4.42am and Great Britain will play Canada at 5.04am.

The cup semifinals will be held at 8.20am tomorrow while the final will be at 12.28pm tomorrow.
