Sowakula named in All Blacks squad which also features 6 new caps

Pita Gus Sowakula will make his debut for the All Blacks next month when the side takes on Ireland in a three match series.

Sevu Reece, George Bower and Hoskins Sotutu have also been named in the 36 member squad.

Coach, Ian Foster has also announced six new caps.

They are Sowakula, Aidan Ross, Folau Fakatava, Stephen Perofeta, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Leicester Fainga’anuku.

Other top players include Dane Coles, Codie Taylor, Brodie Retallick, Sam Whitelock, Sam Cane, Ardie Savea, Beauden Barrett, Richie Mo’unga and Jordie Barrett.

Cane will captain the side.

The All Blacks will face Ireland on 2nd, 9th and 16th July.
