South Africa wins Malaga 7s in Spain

South Africa has won the Malaga 7s in Spain after beating Argentina 24-17 in the Cup final this morning.

Four tries were scored by South Africa compared to two by Argentina.

Selvyn Davids was the Player of the Final.

He scored two tries in the final.

In the women’s competition, the USA 7s team beat Russia 35-10 in the final.

The Fiji men’s and women’s 7s teams did not travel to the Spain leg on the World 7s Series after a COVID-19 outbreak in both camps.
