Nobody likes brutality – Home Affairs Minister

Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua

Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua has told Police officers in the North that he understands sometimes they have to exert a certain level of violence but only enough to do their job.

While speaking during his ministerial visit, he urged the officers to exercise some level of maturity when doing their job.

Tikoduadua says in their eagerness to arrest and to look after the people, they tend to sometimes step over the mark and adds they should always be careful about that.

He adds the officers are an important part of the community as they look after the people.

Tikoduadua told them that he will look after them and in turn they should follow the law.
