It has been two weeks since the daring robberies took place in the Western Division but unfortunately, no arrest has been made by police yet.

While responding to fijivillage News, Police confirm that some people were questioned regarding the alleged aggravated robberies in Nadi and Ba earlier this month.

Divisional Police Commander West, Senior Superintendent of Police Iakobo Vaisewa earlier said they had gathered some information about the men involved and are trying to locate them.

When asked why the information was not disseminated on the official Fiji Police Force page when the robberies took place, SSP Vaisewa says this was not to jeopardise their actions.

People also raised serious concerns after the video emerged on social media where the three men stormed into Total Energies Service Station in Nadi Town on the 8th of August.

The video showed a man getting out of a private vehicle with a knife in his hand, jumping over the counter to scare the cashier and fleeing the scene with cash.

Meanwhile, another man was seen at the entrance trying to stop the employee from closing the door. It is also alleged that they also robbed a mini-mart in Martintar, Nadi and a house in Ba.
