Some hardware outlets yet to adhere to price control
Some hardware outlets in Suva are still in the process of changing prices of hardware items which have been put under price control from this morning by the Commerce Commission.

Fijivillage visited some shops this morning as one shop had a notice for customers advising them they are trying their best to change the prices of hardware items according to price control which may take a few days.

Customers have been advised not to follow the marked prices on the items and rather ask for assistance to get new reduced prices from their computers.

None of the hardware shops visited this morning have put on the list of new hardware prices as required by the Commission.

We will be speaking to the Commerce Commission later this morning.
