The Methodist Church Serua Division has revealed that some communities in their area have been red zoned by the Police and they are taking a patient and compassionate approach to help youths affected by drug use.

This was revealed to fijivillage News by Reverend Peni Ketebaca, who says drugs has been a long-standing issue for them, and they are slowly trying to rehabilitate the youths by being patient and understanding, to avoid pushing them too hard to the point where they turn back to drugs.

He says they have also started teaching the children, taking them along for awareness programs, and giving them bibles and hymn books.

Reverend Ketebaca says there have been good results so far, and patience is a key factor in solving this issue.
