Solomon Islands thrash PNG 12–5 in OFC Men’s Futsal Championship League clash

Solomon Islands' Mataks FC thrashed PNG's Gulf Komara FC 12–5 in their OFC Men’s Futsal Championship League 2025 clash at the Vodafone Arena, securing their first victory of the tournament after two earlier defeats.

The side delivered a commanding performance, racing to a 6–2 lead by half-time.

Mataks maintained full control in the second spell, adding another six goals, sealing a dominant statement win in their campaign.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's Waikato Rapids thrashed Vanuatu's Southern Legions 5-1, while Suva will take on defending champions New Caledonia at 7 tonight.
