Solar Hub Fiji is proud to announce the successful completion of the solar installation at the headquarters of Tourism Fiji, marking a significant step in green energy.

As one of Fiji’s most vital industries, tourism is leading the charge in sustainability, with Tourism Fiji setting a new standard by championing the use of renewable energy.

This state-of-the-art installation includes 88 advanced 550-watt solar panels and a 50-kW inverter, which are expected to generate 74,767 kWh of clean energy annually.

Founder and CEO of Solar Hub Fiji, Yogesh Chand praised Tourism Fiji for their forward thinking approach to renewable energy, Tourism Fiji’s decision to embrace solar power is a powerful statement of leadership by investing in clean energy, they are not only reducing operational costs but setting an inspiring example for other organizations across the Pacific.

Chand says they are honoured to support their commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.

Tourism Fiji Chief Operations Officer, Leigh Howard says this initiative is part of a broader commitment by them to demonstrate that sustainability is both achievable and beneficial in numerous ways.

Howard says with dedication and focus, the investment in sustainable practices is truly worthwhile, and they are proud to be one of the first organisations to power their cars and office on Fiji sunshine.

He says as Fiji’s tourism industry continues to grow, Tourism Fiji’s proactive embrace of renewable energy serves as a model for other businesses and organizations to follow.

Howard added the Solar Hub Fiji remains dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solar solutions that help businesses lower costs while reducing their carbon footprint.
