Social Welfare allowance payments for this month is delayed due to the transition to government’s new financial year.
The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection says they are making every effort to expedite the process and ensure that all recipients receive their allowances by this Friday.
The Ministry says all future monthly payments will resume as per the normal schedule from September.
They say that they understand the importance of the payments to the beneficiaries and they seek public patience and understanding as they work diligently to clear all outstanding payments within this week.
