Local boxer Nathan “the hornet” Singh says he will not waste his time locally after the Ronald Naidu fight because no local boxer would want to face him in the 52kg to 61kg weight category.

Singh was beaten via TKO by Naidu in March last year for the Fijian super lightweight title.

The two boxers will face off once again for the vacant Lightweight title of Fiji next month under Bula Boxing Promotions Fight of the Year program.

Speaking to Legend FM Sports, Singh says he knows almost everything about Naidu after the first fight.

Singh says this time he will be fighting on the front foot and will try to end the fight as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile Sportsworld has given a timely sponsor of $7,000 to assist with gloves, uniforms for officials and training kits to all 16 boxers.

There will be 8 professional bouts and the boxing program will be held at Prince Charles Park on July 9th.
