Singh receives Chartered Accountant of the Year award

It was night to remember for Rajeshwar Singh as he received his award of the Chartered Accountant of the Year during the Fiji Institute of Accountants Awards last night.

Singh who hails from Rewa and has over 24 years of experience in the accounting field says he acknowledged all his family members and his mentor who helped him through out his education life. 

While receiving his award, he says accounting is the way forward and people need to understand that concept.

Meanwhile, Navin Prasad from Legalega Nadi who was awarded Young Accountant of the Year says it was a privilege to be recognized.

Prasad advised students currently enrolled in accounting studies to work hard and strive for excellence to achieve their dreams.

He adds it is essential that the accountants uphold the values and integrity of the professional accounting bodies.
