Silktails scrap plans to head home for final round

Fans and families of the Kaiviti Silktails club will not be able to watch their loved ones play in Fiji for the last round of the Ron Massey Cup competition as they will play in Sydney to push for a place in the finals next month.

Silktails Executive Director Steve Driscoll says there were some timelines that have passed and some logistics they could not get on top of.

He says the boys are very disappointed as friends and families back home were excited to see them showcase their club in Fiji.

The Silktails are in sixth spot in the Ron Massey Cup.
