Shop n Save Supermarket will open it’s 17th outlet in Fiji tomorrow when they open their new supermarket together with the bakery, restaurant and coffee shop in Navua.

Shop n Save Supermarket Director Nisheel Deo says the company has invested $3.5 million in this new outlet and 120 new jobs have been created.

Deo says Navua is a growing town with tremendous economic potential.

He says the increasing demand by the residents of Navua and nearby areas for a modern supermarket with a wide range of products at affordable prices is what had inspired them to open a branch there.

Deo says the people of Navua and nearby areas can expect a modern and spacious shopping environment that is fully air conditioned with ample outside car parking for customer comfort and convenience.

While speaking on the effects of the pandemic, Deo says the business had incurred delays in shipments of materials and goods which has had an impact on the timelines. However he says since the reopening, business is steadily getting back to normal and they are optimistic about their plans for the coming year.
