Shona Amputch is happy to be one of the five nurses at Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital selected to participate in a free specialist medical training program in India this coming January.

Amputch hopes after completing this training, she will return with new knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care for children.

She says her priority at work is always the children, focusing on delivering high-quality care they deserve.

Amputch also highlighted her visits to the islands, villages, and schools to conduct echo screenings, which greatly benefited many children enabling early identification and treatment of their health issues.

Founder of the One World One Family Foundation and Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Hospital Sri Madhusudan Sai emphasises the need to train local health specialists who can provide essential services to the community.

Sai adds they plan to expand their services not only for children but also for men and women in need of heart surgery.
