Several people to appear in court today for their alleged involvement in drug related offences

Two men will appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today for their alleged involvement in drug related offences.

Police say a 39-year-old man has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs after he was allegedly found with methamphetamine.

Officers searched his vehicle in Nadera last Thursday and allegedly found methamphetamine.

Another 52-year-old man has also been charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs following a raid conducted at a house in Damu Place in Nepani.

The search resulted in the seizure of marijuana.

There were also several arrests in the Western Division.

A 40-year old Legalega woman will appear in the Nadi Magistrates Court after she was allegedly found with bullets of dried leaves.

A 38-year old carrier driver will also appear in Nadi Magistrates court after he was allegedly found with illicit drugs in Solovi, Nadi.

Police say a 33-year old man who was allegedly found with illicit substances in Tavarau, Ba will appear in the Ba Magistrates Court today.

Another raid conducted in Riverside, Ba resulted in the arrest of two men who were also allegedly found with illicit substances confirmed to be marijuana.
