Following the five lost lineouts and two scrums against the Wallabies, Fiji Water Flying Fijians head coach Mick Byrne says they must improve in this area before facing Scotland this Saturday.
Byrne gave full credit to the Wallabies and acknowledged that Scotland's lineout defence will present a similar challenge and every small step will matter for the team.
He says that clearer messaging is needed so players fully understand what is expected of them and what they are aiming to achieve on the field.
The coach also highlighted young lock Setareki Turagacoke as a promising talent they are keeping an eye on for the future.
Meanwhile, Flying Fijians prop Peni Ravai is suffering from an arm injury and may need to undergo an MRI.
Fiji will host Scotland at 3pm on Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
Ticket prices are $150 for grandstand, $100 for the gold section, embankment adult concrete is $40 while children under 12 are $15, grass is $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12.
Tickets are now available from ticketmate.com.fj, Fiji Sports Council, Fiji Rugby Union, and at Grills Restaurant and Bar.
