Rugby Legend and 7s Wizard Waisale Serevi

Rugby Legend and 7s Wizard Waisale Serevi is leading a call to action in the fight against drugs and in protecting the children of Fiji.

Serevi highlighted this to fijivillage News saying he is using the Serevi Academy as a vehicle, a platform to go into schools, churches, community and companies.

He says we need to empower children, to tell them that they are important, whether they are good or are doing wrong things.

The 7s Wizard says we need to empower our children to change their life, to tell them that there is still time to change.

He says the Serevi Academy is made up of 20 percent rugby and the other 80 percent is to empower and motivate the children that they are the important part of society as they are our future.

Serevi says the moms, the dads, the people leading the government are not the future, it is the youth.

Serevi says that is why he is coming back to Fiji for the next four years, to lead this drug fight because he does not want our children to suffer.

He adds we need to do that, so that when we leave from this place, the children are safe, Fiji is a safe country and people can say that Fiji – the way the world should be.
