Semi Kunatani leads Fiji Warriors to a 20-5 win against Wadigi Salvo

Fiji Warriors Captain Semi Kunatani.

Fiji Warriors Captain Semi Kunatani was instrumental in their first game as they beat Wadigi Salvo 20-5 at the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Kunatani led by example with clean line breaks and offloads and was ruthless in defence.

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Ben Gollings spoke highly of Kunatani after the game saying his training is going well and he is getting back to his full potential.

The Fiji warriors scored four unanswered tries through Panapasa Qeruqeru, Petero Kelevanua, Kaminieli Rasaku and Vasikali Mudu.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand Men's 7s team thrashed Marist 22-0 while the Fiji Barbarians hammered Army Red 31-0

In other results, Wardens beat Wainisuka 22-0, Maravu Taveuni upset Tabadamu 12-10 and Fire beat Dominion Brothers 12-0.
