The search is currently underway for a 38-year-old man from Wainisalato, Naboro after he failed to return from a fishing trip yesterday.
Police say the fisherman was heading towards Vunisoco and Kalokolevu on Wednesday night on a grey wooden boat but failed to return home the next morning.
They say search efforts are being conducted by officers from the Lami Police Station and WATERPOL division.
People living in nearby coastal areas are requested to call 917 if they may have seen something or have information that could assist with search efforts.
